Buffer storage systems are indispensable if you want to operate modern assembly lines. For instance, once bodies leave the paint shop, the downstream process must be supplied continuously and it must be possible to access individual bodies quickly.

That’s why we combine the advantages of different types of storage systems. For example, we enable direct access to each individual body via a high-bay store, and at the same time we achieve high extraction rates when performing sequences for the final assembly through surface store with several parallel storage lines for pre-sorting by color. The bodies are transported by floor conveyors or electric monorail conveyors in connection with transfer devices and high-bay storage/retrieval units. And naturally, all solutions have an explosion-proof design.

As a result, the flow of materials is conveyed optimally, balanced between the production, paint shop and assembly areas, for better plant utilization and faster job processing.
