The exhibition model "Energy saving with SINAMICS G150" clearly demonstrates the energy-saving potential when using the SINAMICS G150 variable-speed drive converter for pump, fan and compressor applications. "Energy saving with SINAMICS G150" comprises a SINAMICS G150 drive unit (Type C, 110 kW power rating, 400 V, dimensions 430 x 680 x 2380 (WxDxH in mm), weight 230,5 kg) and the actual operational model. This operational model comprises two separate pump circuits. For one of the pump circuits, the flow is mechanically regulated using a throttle; and for the second pump circuit, the motor speed is adapted using the SINAMICS G150. In this case, displays indicate the different power requirements of the two control techniques.
The pump model has the following dimensions 1330x800x2100 (WxDxH in mm) and a weight of 755 kg. The pump circuits are filled at the exhibition/demonstration site using a hose supplied with the model.
