Following the introduction of the SCALANCE X-100 product line of SIMATIC NET, the product range will be supplemented by three unmanaged media converters. The new SCALANCE X101-1, X101-1LD and X101-1POF products each have one electrical 10/100 Mbit/s RJ45 port and a corresponding fiber optic port. The media converters of the SCALANCE X-100 product line are ideally suited for the conversion of electrical to optical signals.
