SIMATIC OP77B - Operator panel
It is the first device in the new 70 series class of panels configurable
in WinCC Flexible.
Overview
The OP77B is a new operator panel in the lower end performance class
of the SIMATIC HMI panel family offering the following capabilities:
- Graphics-capable successor to the OP 7
- Same mounting cutout as the OP7
- High degree of compatibility with the OP7 incl. conversion option
for OP7 ProTool configurations within WinCC flexible
- Larger, highly readable 4.5" display
- Universal configuration with the larger graphics panels, e.g. alarm
display
- Different font sizes, Asian characters and bitmaps
- All interfaces onboard: MPI/Profibus, RS232, USB, MultiMediaCard
slot
- Configurable with WinCC flexible 2004 Compact or higher
Features
Providing full graphics capability whereas previously the OP7 only
offered text facilities, the OP77B provide a range of innovations whilst
maintaining compatibility to the OP7.
- 4.5" full graphics display, allowing for example - bitmaps & bar
graphs
- Compact, space-saving design (same mounting cut-out as the OP7)
- MultiMediaCard (MMC) memory cards for recipes and configuration
backups (recipes are stored in CSV format and can thus be further processed
with - for example - MS Excel)
- USB interface for printer connection and configuration download
- Onboard MPI and PROFIBUS DP (12 Mbit/s)
- Multi language support including Asian and Cyrillic characters
- Graphical labelling of the softkey buttons
- Connection possibilities exist to the SIEMENS and 3 rd party PLCs
- Cut dimensions are compatible with the OP7.
- The front faceplate dimensions of the OP77B are 6 mm larger (W&H)
than the OP7.
- New functions within the scope of WinCC flexible, including
- Recipe data records and users can be edited via the configuration
PC
- Alarm message classes can be freely edited
