New Power for the SIMATIC S7-300
The three innovated PS307 system and load power supplies
with 2, 5 and 10 A rated output current, offer enhanced functionality and were
specially designed to suit the current CPUs. With up to 33 % less overall width,
they save space on the S7-300 rail. DIN rail mounting is also possible using
an adapter. Automatic switchover to 120/230 V AC input voltage virtual excludes
operating errors. They also conform to ATEX guidelines and the UL1604 standard
for hazardous locations, facilitating use in Ex protection area Zone 2.

24V Power Supply in IP67 Protection Rating
This rugged new power supply is designed for distributed
use in three-phase networks and supplies 8 A rated output current. It can be
operated in ambient temperatures ranging from -25 to +55°C and is available
in two versions: The SIMATIC ET200pro PS supplies the electronic/encoder and
load voltages for the system components and features a special connector for
looping through the input voltage, in contrast to the otherwise structurally
identical SITOP PSU300P. It can also be used for other applications outside the
control cabinet.

The compact PM1207 power supply for the SIMATIC S7-1200
has been specially designed to suit the new SIMATIC Controller across the board.
The 24 V/2.5 A stabilized power supply unit for connection to a single-phase
120/230 V AC supply only requires 70 mm on the DIN rail.

SITOP Power Supplies – Selectivity in 24 V Load
Feeders
The SITOP PSE200U selectivity module distributes the load
current over 4 current circuits and reliably monitors them for overload and short-circuits.
A faulty 24-V feeder is de-energized and the remaining loads continue to be supplied
without interruption, so total failure of the plant is avoided. The fault is
output via a common signaling contact and indicated by an LED on the affected
feeder. Compared to the predecessor device SITOP select, the SITOP PSE200U offers,
for example, remote reset, a reset button for each channel, and a sealable cover
for protecting the output current settings.

First Maintenance-Free DC-UPS with IP65 Rating
The new uninterruptible 24 V power supply with highly-capacitive
capacitors as the energy storage device is now also available with IP65 protection
rating. It can therefore be used outside of the control cabinet at ambient temperatures
of up to +55 °C. The 10 kWs SITOP UPS500P version supplies 7 A output current
at 24 V DC and is suitable for mounting on support arm systems such as required
when using SIMATIC Panel PCs.
