If students can be trained on components identical to those used in real production environments, they will learn rationally and effectively and, more importantly, will not require any additional training.

While CNC training systems in the past have been implemented using real production hardware to create a realistic training environment, it is now possible to train operators effectively using a standard PC workstation. This alternative reduces costs enormously, with the added advantage that technological advances can be introduced at any time by simple software updates.
