3rd Forum on Mechatronics in Mechanical Engineering

Under the motto „Economical Success with Mechatronics“, the
"3rd Forum on Mechatronics in Mechanical Engineering"
will take place at the
   Siemens Regional Office Stuttgart
   Weissacher Str. 11
   70499 Stuttgart
on July 11, 2006, from 9:30 a.m. onwards.
Organizer: Working Group Mechatronics. The event is actively sponsored by medium-sized companies, the organizations and associations VDMA, VDW and ZVEI as well as by the trade journals "VDI nachrichten", "Computer & AUTOMATION" and ":K".

During the one-day event, machine manufacturers will meet automation partners to discuss perspectives, opportunities and trends in mechanical engineering using mechatronics approaches and concepts.

Presentations by specialists on simulation tools for mechanical engineering or on the modularization of machines will be supported by "best practice" presentations on already implemented mechatronics concepts in mechanical engineering. The main focus of the event, however, will be the exchange of ideas and experiences between machine manufacturers, on the one hand, and machine manufacturers and automation partners on the other.
