My customer wants 2oo3 voting on redundant signals to SIL3. Using an S7-400FH, will I have to carry out the voting within the safety programme (as I can only find 1oo2 within the I/O module directly)? They want 2oo3 for all digital and analogue signals.

I realise the F-Systems library has a boolean 2oo3 Vote function (for BOOLS only) but how do I configure the I/O module to maintain SIL3?

Any advice would be appreciated...

Which version F block are you using? As per manual F-library V1.2 has  F_2oo3_R block.

Please see the page from manual attached.

But  F option pack 6.0 has library 1.3
This shoul have following voting blocks

Thank you for the heads up, I was reading an (much) earlier version of the manual by mistake.
