SIMULINK has some OPC tools and make the connection possibel.Search the forum for more information.

Check the following procedure provided by a memebr form an old thread. Also possible to search the OPC Servers by MATLAB:

Thank you for your reply. So it means that I should find Wincc OPC servers by matlab OPCTOOL command. When I brows the computer on which WinCC is installed i find the following OPC servers:
CCOPC.XmlWrapper.1
OPCServer.WinCC.1
OPCServerAE.WinCC.1
OPCServerHDA.WinCC.1
I have WinCC and Step7 + PLCsim on one computer and Matlab and (another copy of Step 7+ PLCsim) on another computer. Should all of the componenets installed on one computer?
Will it be possible to both read and write data to Simulink (and vise versa) by this method?

Thanks¡¡¡

Indeed I have been exploring the OPC in Matlab, but I need the program that allows me to send data to a variable of type S7300 PLC MD for example.
Do not know if there will be any tutorials out there ....
Well your interest is appreciated anyway
thank you very much
Greetings.

If you want to connect the real CPU,You need a CP on the CPU for example. Then you need OPC Scout to make the OPC server out of your all system.Connection to MATLAB is not much difficult of finding all and commission them. The easiest way , use method already introduced by me and save money.
