Hello everyone.
I wannt to make a new projekt with TP170A.
How it`s possible to make date field in format dd.MM.yyyy and time field in format HH:mm:ss, and system messages must be in english. Changes in regional settings doesn`t bring result.
Changes in "C:\Program Files\Siemens\SIMATIC WinCC flexible\WinCC flexible 2005\Configs\Messages\SystemMessageMap.xml" doesn't bring result too.

Thanks

Hi

if you switch the language of your WinCC flexible workbench to "German", then create your project with a date-time-field, the time/date will be displayed as you like...

Hi,

Having similar problem with TP-177A and WinCC Flexible 2007 HF4.  If I select United Kingdom as project language then the date/time field ends up displayed in MM/dd/yyyy h:m:s format which is US format. I've tried to swap language of WinCC flexible workbench to "German" as suggested by Nemo but in "Options", "Settings", "Workbench", "User interface language" the only choice is English (United States).

As an alternative I tried swapping to German as runtime language and date/time field correctly displays as dd/MM/yyyy HH:mm:ss but I lose all of English texts from my screen.  I've tried using the export texts tool to copy the English texts to German project text list but this doesn't work.  Also tried cut and paste of English texts which works but only one at a time.

Is there a better way to modify the UK date/time format to the correct one rather that the fudged fix of swapping to German?  Or is there an easy way to copy my English project text list to German project text list

Many thanks in advance,
Corby

Hi,

you can change that in WinCC flexible.

(1) Click on "Options > Settings" in the menu of WInCC flrxible.
(2) Click on "Workbench > Project view settings" in the WinCC flexible settings.
(3) Change the mode to "Display all Items".
(4) After that you find the "system events" in the project tree -> "Alarm Management".
(5) Open the system events.
(6) Switch to the event number 330018.
(7) Change the order to "d/M/yyyy".

Note: You should only change the settings for th language English(UK)

Bye

I have a similar issue, my choices are only: english US, french, Spanish, german, italian.

None of them have the field #330018 in system settings.

How did you succed to find it?
