Hi to All,

Need help from my guru here, just had some trouble recently on one of my projects. I'm setting up a TD 200 HMI on my cpu 224CN for the purpose of some timer adjustment only. I have successfully downloaded my initial program and it went good. However, when the unit was shutdown for a long time  and then power on, NO PARAMETER BLOCK was displayed on the TD 200. Why is this happening...need help guys. Thanks in advance...

Hello,

First you have to check communication parameters in TD.
And the offset for parameterblock.
The TD gets all the parameters from the S7-200 data block, you can check there the start adres of the TD parameters.

Sir

I followed the offset parameter block as per instruction...the NO Parameter block was removed and the TD 200 display config showed up. However same thing happen again after the power went off. for about 3-4hrs Do i need to put memory card to the cpu to make the parameters retentive? cause everytime the power resume the values of the set time on TD changes from what it should be.

Thanks Again,
win3xzaga

Dear win3xzaga,

Memory card is not required for S7-200 PLC untill & unless ur CPU is supposed to be off fo the long durations.

Please send us the backup of PLC so that we can have a look for the same.

Dear win3xzaga,

You can set the retentive data in S7-200 without memory card.
Please find the attached screen shot to set data retentive.

Got to system block>retentive ranges.

Here u can set the data of V or M memory which u have used in TD and u want to set it retentive.

Hi,

I've search from several threads regarding this topic and was able to find temporary solution to resolve the "No Parameter Block" display on TD200C. I just went to the TD Setup Menu and put on the Parameter Block setting the starting address of the TD configuration. However, I believe same problem will occur each time there will be power interruption.
