My S7 PLC is connected to a WinCC (SCADA) app which is connected to SQL server via LAN.
Now data is tabulated and transferred to the PC station where SCADA is operating through LAN and I want to collect those parameters(from SQL server :- possible data formatsare CSV, XLS) and feed them to SCADA(OPC Server) to make a recipe. PLC would then compare the data(PLC input and data from SQL).
How is it possible?
Hope i find the solution.
Thnak you.

Hello hardik.012,

you can use IndustrialDatabridge to transfer Values vom SQL-Server tables into OPC Server of WinCC.
For building a system processing batch process or handle recipes you can also take a look at WinCC option SIMATIC BATCH or WinCC SES.
The SIMATIC Batch you can find in the option list of WinCC.
The WinCC SES is a new product for recipe based processes in a low cost environment.

Take care.

thank U very much.
And i have heard about BATCH its an add on.
Bt i want the system to be completly automated...
I can import the values from the table to WinCC if i have fixed recipes. But here the variables and their properties are going to change. So would it be possible to import those changing values directly nto the recipes???
I dont want any operator as such in the middle...
thank U again. :)

Even if i choose to import data from WinCC to MS-Excel sheet automatically, i have to create or copy the structural tags manually... Is there any option of making the entire process automatic?
pls reply.
thank u.
