Hi,

In our application we need to measure and control the Equpiment travel distance in meters for that we used 24 V d c1024 ppr Incremental encoder, signal is taken to the ET200S Pulse Module.

We using ET200S 1 Count 24v DC module ( 6ES7 138-4DA04-OABO ) integrating with Step 7 software so kindly anybody reply to me how to programme and how to receive the pulse count.

I refered the Technological functions Manual in Chapter 2 but I can't get clear Idea.

Pls send if u anybody have screen shot procedure.

Thanks in advance

Hello,
Did you see this?
In HWConfig you select the module and function you want to use and you set the module parameters (properties of the module).
In the S7 program you use Load and Transfer commands (or Move blocks in FDB) to transfer the data to or from the module.

Hello,

Make one FC and one DB with a length of 16 bytes. The start address of the module is 256. This corresponding to first address for this module in hardware configuration. After calling this block (OB1) in created DB you will have all info -

DB1.DBD8 (current count value)

DB1.DBx13.0 (internal gate status).

Then you can play further with these value...

Best regards,

Hristo Mihalev
