Hi All,
I have a simodrive 611 system with power module 6SN1123-1AA00-0EA1 and control card 6SN118-0AA11-0AA1. Starting the drive fault code 7 appears on control card. Motor did not turns at all. I already replaced motor, power module and control card - nothing changed.
In documentation fault code 7 decription is "Speed controller at its endstop". What does it mean and how to solve that problem?

Hello Minox,

The speed controller is at its limit for too long of a time (torque or current limit). The permissible time has a default value of aproximately 200 milliseconds; therefore, if your acceleration or deceleration time needs to be longer than this, you may need to modify this time which is described in the Simodrive analog start up guide.

Chances are that the load on the motor is too high or that the axis is mechanically blocked (e.g., holding brake on or too much friction on the slide).  I wonder if your DC link is up and operational (i.e., check the yellow LED on the Infeed Module).

Hope this helps...
