Hello,

since this morning there is the Servicepack 2 for WinCC flexible available.
The greatest feature is the new Widescreen-Mode for PC-Runtime.
Also there are new demo-project for panels and a demo for Widescreen.

Have fun ...

Hello.

Yes, it's good, but the compatibility with Windows7 doesn't work:
To start the SP2 setup, you need to install a previous version.
But you can't install a previous version under Windows7.
Do you have a tips? Thanks

Séb.

Splitted from WinCC flexible Widescreen & Demo´s .

Hello s.oggier,

I think you can contact your salesman to get a full-install for WinCC flexible 2008 SP2.
Then you can install it on windows 7.

Thanks for the reply.
I wait the answer from local reseller, because the full version DVD is actually only available for SP1 (S79220-B1580-P)

Hello,

Don't worry. I think they have it. DVD included SP2. Please share your result with Windows7 here.

Good luck!

Best regards,

Ok, to install the runtime under Windows 7:

1. Run the WinCC_flexible_2008_sp2.exe and extract the files into the hard disk C:\.
2. Install the runtime: C:\WinCC_flexible_2008_sp2\CD1\WinCCflexible\RTHF\Setup\Setup.exe
3. If necessary, install the licence manager: C:\WinCC_flexible_2008_sp2\CD1\Automation License Manager\Setup\Setup.exe

This procedure will install the runtime without searching the old WinCC Flex files.
Now the runtime is installed. Copy the runtime license key and send the project.
It will work proprely.
