Dear Expert Mr. Marcjan,

 

I hope it finds you well. 

 

I have a same problem like that. My problem is to connect LOGO! to PC under Windows se7en OS. I use the diver for USB cable which be delivered by setup.exe (LOGO! Comfort Ver 7.0.30). It connects just one time after windows boot-up and suddenly it loses its connection with LOGO! by the same upper mentioned error message. Always at online test mode. And most of the time there is no chance to connect.

I am sure my cable is right. Because with this version of LOGO! Comfort, under Windows XP! it works continuously. Even without any disconnection.

I would very happy if you let me know, why.

Hello,

When you say only with online test, you mean up/down load is working correct?
What Logo you have there?
Can you make a printscreen of Help---->About----> system info.
Perhaps a new version of Java must be installed, have no Win 7 here to check some settings.
With some Logo i had some trouble with Online test too, but after upload it was o.k.

Hi,

try to set the right LOGO! in the SW you have realy connected.

Lots of user have programms created for older LOGO!. They open the old program edit and download in lots of cases to a newer LOGO!. So they forget to select the right LOGO! also in the Program. Download works in lots of cases but online test doesn't work

If an actual LOGO! 0BA6 is used, then you have to select LOGO! 0BA6 ES3 as LOGO!.
Otherwise the Online test will not work. Same with 0BA7. If a LOGO! 0BA7 is connected and you want to start online Test be sure to have LOGO! 0BA7 selected as LOGO! HW.

i also have the same concern. i have ob7 (6ED1 053 1FB00 0BA7) and laptop. i cannot communicate logo. i connected logo using ethernet cable. my logo has it own supply.
please help me connect or how to configure ob7 to connect with laptop loaded with W7

Hello,

Have a look at attached document to setup the Logo and Logosoft.

Document can also be found in Logo application Examples

Make sure your IP is in the same range (only last digit may be different) and Subnet is the same.

 Thank you very much in advance for your attention and replying.

 Very kindly, I am very sorry if my previous comment wasn’t enough clear to understand. I didn’t say “only at online test”. My major problem is “most of the time I can not get any connection to LOGO! (any version that I’ve used such as OBA5, OBA6 and still I haven’t use of OBA7) by LOGO! Comfort software under Windows se7en O.S.

 For first step of work (getting connection to LOGO! under Windows se7en) I should several time try to do connect for uploading or downloading my prog*.lsc. And if I be lucky to make a connection, next, it will be terminated by running “online-test mode” after approximately a minute certainly.

 But, as I already said, if I work under Windows XP! O.S. definitely every thing goes well with my all hard wares.

 That sounds strange!

 I appreciate you for your very friendly supporting and guidance.

Hello Helmut,

When I was working on my program (with LSC extention) under Windows XP! O.S. everything was all right (up&downloading and online test mode)

 Is this your remedy just for solution in Windows se7en?

 Or it is a general trick?

Did you try to reinstall the driver? If no, then uninstall the LOGO! USB Driver, download the driver here and install it new.
