Hi, I have the same alarm on my 840Di, 400260, I've changed the panel and the error appeared again, if I install the ghost back-up it works if I've choosed to load from hard disk the parameters, if I tried from MCI I get the alarm, the voltage is 24.4 V, After power off the machine works only for few minutes.

Please help,

Hello....

Could you check in Diagnosis Screen ( Alarm Screen) any further alarms are there...

Loading the Ghost backup for this alarm is not the right suggestion for this...

Prakash

The sinumerik is installed on a punching machine, all drives are working fine no error, I bought the MCP from siemens not from the producer of the machine, the person that sold it told me that I only need to configure the switches as on the last one, nothing else ... That is what I did, started the machine with the new one, the buttons stopped blinking and it was OK for few seconds, and after that ...same thing...
I've used the ghost image after with the new panel and it was working like this for 2 shifts, and then after a break of half an hour ... started fine, made the program reference for the clamps ... and went blinking again ,....

,,,and yes I've removed last week the MCI board from the PCI slot, made a photo, and I've asked for an offer, I was thinking that it may be the board, and after  also the battery on it, but I'm no specialist ... so I'm asking you ... the machine was working after ...for 3 days - 3 shifts ....

Hello...

Any battery voltage is low ....check it !!! it should be 3.6V

Better to check when you get the alarm try connecting your Simatic Step7 software and check in the diagonisis why the error is coming

I've measured it when I made the picture, the voltage was 3.11 V on the Extension board, and 3.10 V on the MCI, thanks again for the help

Kind regards,
Marius

Hello...

Battery voltage should be around 3.6V..lithium battery...

try connecting your Simatic Step 7 tool and check in the PLC why are you getting this error in the diagnosis.

Prakash
