Hi everybody!

Having a need to create a system of monitoring/control of 11x 1214с PLC`s from  operators PC(WinCC V11 RT ADV) via GSM/GPRS. 

Now, there`s 11 control points with 1214C CPU on each of them and an operators room with WinCC V11 RT ADV(Flexible). Need to system to be expandable up to 60 points.

The number of parameters need to monitor/control of each point:

AI = 14

DI = 23

DO = 5

Configuration for each control point, at the moment, is - 1214c + MCard2mb + SM1221(16DI) + SM 1231(8AI) + SM 1231(8AI)

Sofware, at the moment:

1.STEP7 V11 Pro

2.WinCC V11 Pro

3.WinCC V11 RT Adv - for operator PC 

Here`s my vision to solve this.

1. Add GSM/GPRS comm module

Control points:

a. The CP 1242-7 6GK7 242-7KX30-0XE0(one pcs to each PLC)

or

b. the scalance M873 6GK5873-0AA10-1AA2  

To operators PC - The scalance M873 6GK5873-0AA10-1AA2

2. Buy aditional software: 

a. The Telecontrol Server Basic 64 6NH9910-0AA20-0AB0

b. OPC SERVER ???(doubt about that)

c. WinCC v11 RT PRO in case of system expantion to 60 points

Will it work with this kind of configuration of hardware, SW ?
