Hi there )))
I have the TP177micro panel 6AV6 640-0CA11-0AX1. The display  isnt working normally, it doesnt show 90% of  information. There`s a blue screen on it, but at the middle of a screen threre`s a band, part of screen that working normally (the photo`s are attached). So i think, that the HW and touchscreen of a panel is working great, the display is broken, cause when starting the panel, i can see the booting process, startup menu and mnemo in that 10 working percents of a screen. So. I want to backup the project from panel by WinCC 2008 Flex SP3. When i choose the backup command in wincc, i restart the panel, and then there is an error message, that saying to set the transfer mode in panel. Of course, i can`t, because i don`t see anything. I want to try do the backup BLINDLY.  So, if anybody have same panel, can you send me video or pics with  the instruction, where on screen i have to tap, step by step, to set the transfer mode on panel, and do the backup.
It`s more likely that recreate the existing projectRnf:lblSmileyTooltip_
Thank you for your help.

Hello,

You can try How do you do an operating system update (OS update) on operator panels?

Then you don't have to put the panel in transfermode.

Marcjan

Hello,

How do you backup/restore with a Windows-based panel?

You can find a picture from the loader and the transfer of TP177 micro in the following manual.
See chapter 4.3.3
SIMATIC HMI HMI device OP 73micro, TP 177micro (WinCC flexible)

Oops,blush

I see now that you want to make a backup first, when updating the OS user program will be lost.
So first you have to get a coppy off the program, see above post.
A backup off the program cannot be edited, so if wrong or corrupted program on panel you won't get it to work.

Best thing to do is try to get the program from maker, restore the OS and try download the program and hope it works.

Regards,

Marcjan
