Dear friends, Can anyone tell me why I only can use a Logo 7 for this project ? I don't need any of the special/new Logo 7 features ...

Hi,
You have used at least on feature not supported in older LOGO!
Post your program to see what it is.

Thanks for your concern, Helmut. I add the diagram. Nevertheless it's weird 'cause I MADE the prog in 6, but after I opened it in 7, it only worked with 7 afterwards....
btw... it's not completely finished yet ...

If you change the TEXT blocks , then you canb use alse the 0BA5 or 0BA6. Try this at home: F2 (= TOOLS > Determineer LOGO) Look in the Info screen. Scroll upside. her you can find with LOGO you can use, but als look why an older LOGO dont fit.
You can als see whats wrong in your programm. You cant send it from your PC to the logo, because several blockt ( the textblocks) have no connection on the output. In the LOGO! every block MUST have an output connection. You can yse the " Open Connector" Block .
Next time start an new programm an as first you chose the richt LOGO! with CTRL+H (TOOLS > Select Hardware) Then you cant make a programm thats not fix in your LOGO!

Thank you toeternitoe,
I know that the program won't be transferable to "any" logo YET. But that was not my main question. Even removal of the text blocks still doesn't allow me to "use" a OBA6 ... Here's the info of the same program, but with all Text blocks removed : *** Determine LOGO! Resources used: Function Blocks 30/400 REM 0/250 Digital Inputs 4/24 Digital Outputs 4/16 Flag 2/27 Analog Inputs 0/8 Text Box 0/50 Text contents 0/50 Analog outputs 0/2 Program memory 460/8000 Block names 0/100 Analog flags 1/16 Cursor keys 0/4 Shift register 0/4 Shift register bits 0/32 Open connectors 0/64 LOGO! TD Function keys 0/4 Network inputs 0/64 Network analog inputs 0/32 UDF types 0/16 UDF instances 0/64 Data Log 0/1 Network outputs 0/64 Network analog outputs 0/16 Analog Filters 0/8 Maximum nesting depth: I1-B008-B037-B006-B010-B023-B004-B041-Q1

Aha ! OK ... the [Select Hardware] indeed showed me what blocks are not possible in OAB6 ! I'll find a work-around for those things.
Thanks Toeternitoe !
