Good evening. I must change a old MM150/3 inverter with Profibus interface with MM440 inverter.
I have install a new Hardwhare with same address and I/O mapping and same telegramm PPO3 like as OLD.

I have follow a indication in MM440 manual (6SE6400-5AK00-0CP0) for parameter profibus : Parameter  P700 and P1000  = 6.  But motor don' running. Something of you have make a swap from old to new inverter with success   ?

Thank-you

Hi, please give some more information:

Have you changed the Profibus address (either by hardware switches on the profibus module, or by using parameter P918) - is there any bus address faults on the Master?

Did you start with a factory defaulted drive and run the quick commissioning only?

If you are using Starter software (Which I strongly recommend) Can you go online and look at the diagnostics. Look at the control word, as some of the older MM's used a slightly different control word layou (From memory, bit 14 or 15 was utilised on early MM's as a direction inhibit)
Check in the old manuals an new manuals to match up the control words.

Double check on the setpoint page that the main setpoint is set to r2050[1] (i.e. word 2 of the telegram.

Double check that P810 = P811 = 0

As a diagnostic for us, you could post the values in the parameters below while you think your drive should be running:

r52
r2050[0]
r2050[1]

Graeme

Thanks for your suggestion. Now I have not people on site but :

HW configuration was OK ... PLC see Profibus address set by dip-switch

P810-811 : I have no check (In manual 6SE6400-5AK00-0CP0 it's not mentioned) but default it 0 (I will check when possible).

Today SIEMENS told to me to check parameter 2041.00 .. It must be set to 3 when we use PPO3 and default it 0 (I have not change) ...   I will check this modify when possible

I have not check because in manual 6SE6400-5AK00-0CP0 parameter 2041 it's indicated as : Max Timing wait without Profibus telegram and when it is 0 controll it's deactivated (I was start without control before).

For comand word I have see a difference on bit 14 (Old MM150/3) goes on bit 11 (New MM440) function : Setpoint inversion

Diagnose by local operator was : Bit 0 and 1 status of read word (Inverter status Word) swapping but not togheter at 1 for have Inverter Enable and Inserted
