Dear Experts
I need to comunicate a CP443-1 to our DCS by modbus TCP.
I am usign both ports in the CP 443-1, one for WinCC link and the other for DCS communication.
My problem is that the DCS support only 10 Mbps and it is half duplex.
My question are:
1) In the CP 443-1,  it is possible to change the velocity and type of comunication in each port individually or  any change will have effect in both port.?
I really appreciate your advices.
Many thanks in advance.
Pedro

Hello,
You can set the velocity and mode for each port separately.
Check the checkboxe "disable autonegotiation".
In my opinion, your DCS will not support topology, synchronisation, accessible node functions.
Therefore, als ckeck the checkboxes "end of sync domain", "end of detection accessible nodes", "end of toplogy". See picture.

Many thanks jklm
My DCS is Yokogawa, communication module ALE111.
Its manual is not very clear about configuration features, but I think that that module supports certain topologies.
Nevertheless, my link is dedicated between DCS-PLC (pont to point), so I will apply your advice.
Kind Regards
Pedro

One point more
By the way to change this parameter,
I have just read in the manual of CP443-1 (GH_CP443-1-EX20_76, page 38) a recommendation for changing "individual network only over MPI".
That means, I need to download the new configuration by menas of MPI/DP port integrated in the CPU PLC?.
many thanks in advance

Hello,
If you download the new settings of a network over the same network path that you just configuring, of course it could be a problem.
This problem will not occure if you download via MPI.
But also not if you download via another CP card for instance.
