Hi there,

I have an issue regarding a motor circuit I'm working on.

I have a:

-  S120, 4.9kW.
- CPU 313 2DP
- CU320
- Electro motor

My issue is that when I'm driving this system with a heavy load, with a profibus analog joystick in both directions, there is no problem. I can push it to the limit by driving it very fast in both directions.

But when I drive it really slow, but only down, it's dropping the load. I don't find any limitations at all on this problem, and would be very gratful for some help.

best regards,
Peter

Regards
Peter

Hi, is there an encoder on the hoist/lift?
What is the control mode of the drive?
SLVC, VC, or VF

I'm sorry I forgot to mention this, but it is no encoder connected and it is sensor less.

Try to use an encoder, it improves the behaviour at low speeds.

Is there any solution on this issue without using an encoder? The motor doesn't have one, so that could be a problem.

One solution could be to filter the input signal from the joystick to increase the minimum speed to the drive. In that way we can avoid those areas with the problem.

And one other thing. If you check my function made on the brakefunction. Is there a possibillity to ad that the brake is closed when going in to a fault/Stop 2 situation in this function, without changing to much on it? Such an overspeed or stall alarm?
