Hi,

I migrated a project with several CPu's and 1 WinCCflex project from WinCcflex SP2 to SP3.

When I browse to a PLC tag in WinCCflex, it not only shows my 7 CPU's (which are defined at the connections tab and are connected over an ethernet network), but also all the profibus DP members (each CPU has a separate profibus network).
With all these DP members, it is difficult to find the CPU's in the list, I now have al list of +50 devices, instead of just my 7 CPU's.

Also, when WinCCflex (editor) starts up, it gives al lot of warnings on these devices that routing and tags are not possible.

In SP2, I didn't have this 'problem'

Is there a settings somewhere to turn of the visibility of these DP devices when browsing for tags?

Hello,
If you do not have any problem with WinCC flexible 2008 SP2, then downgrade again to it.
I have checked Update for WinCC flexible 2008 Service Pack 3, It contains a pdf file in "Information on Update 2". Please check solved problems section in that pdf. Unfortunately you will not found your problem solved their.
And please contact customer support to provide them by your problem. I believe they will do their best to solve it in the next update.

Kris_pgc,

Did you find a solution for your problem?

I have the exact same problem after updating from SP2 to SP3. Also updating to SP3 update 2 didn't make a difference.

Hi,

Siemens released a new update.
Installing WinCC Flexible 2008 SP3 update 3 has resolved this issue for me.

Hello

Do you start a support request?
What said the customer support to your problem?

I found in the Readme this:

Selecting the hardware component in the tag dialog

The tag dialog displays hardware components that do not contain tags that can be used for

HMI devices.
