Hello Ententa,

It appears you are attempting to identify the part numebr for a replacement encoder for 1PH7184... motor.

For this to be identified you will need to provide more information including entire part number and serial number of the motor.

The replacement part number depends up on the entire part number (specifically the ninth digit) and date of manufacture according to the design of the motor.

Attached is an example name plate for which you may contact below for specific feedback.

In the attachment the item labeled "1" is the entire part number which will be 16 digits in length.  Item "9" is the serial number.

If you are not in North America the below contacts can direct you to your more local support representatives.

Customer Support in North America:

Phone Hotline: (800) 879-8079 and press "1"

Hello Ententa,

Copied from previous entry:
1PH7-184-2ND03-0BC02

Yes the N in part number specifies incremental encoder sin/cos 1 Vpp without C and D track.

There is a typo in your part number above in that there are one too many digits.  My estimate from above is that the last four digits would be either "0BC0" or "0BC2"

However you will also need to provide serial number of the motor as the encoder kit has changed over time of manufacture and contact spare parts/repair center for these motors to identify by part number.

As per attachment in previous entry the serial number should be on nameplate to right of the 1PH714 part number.
