Upgrade Simatic Field PG M3 from WinXP SP3 to Win7 64 Bit

Dear Friends,

I already have Simatic Field PG M3 built in Windows XP Professional SP3, depend on microsoft service and support website, They will not support for Windows XP platform since 2014 and years to come. I plan to upgrade existing Field PG software platform to Windows7 64 bit.

Do you have any suggestion about that? what concern that I should have pay attention?
Is there any problem with simatic field PG driver, maybe when I finish the installation some ports (MPI, CP, or etc.) will not function correctly?

Hello,

I think it will work as Field PG M3 already is released for Win7 64 bits. On the same time you will need of course updates of all Siemens software. Take a look at Delivery Release for SIMATIC Field PG M3 with updated SIMATIC pre-loaded software "02/2012" and new operating system option Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit 
I think there is placed all the info.
