Hello to everybody,

I have the alarm 27011 "axe SP2 safely reduced speed exceded" on  the spindle of a milling machine.
This alarm occures when runnuing the spindle but not each time, this alarm occures also when manipulating the potentiometer in increasing the speed.
Anybody knows the meaning of this alarm.
Any help appreciate.

Repbob.

Hello...

Meaning of the alarm 27011:safely–reduced speed exceeded

Reason:
The axis has moved too quickly and faster than that specified in MD $MA_SAFE_VELO_LIMIT. When SBH/SG is active and for a 1–encoder system, the speed, that corresponds to the encoder limit frequency saved in MD SAFE_ENC_FREQ_LIMIT was exceeded.

Remedy / Help:

If no obvious operator error has occurred: Check the value entered into the MDs, check the SGEs: Was the correct safely–reduced speed selected? If the MDs and SGEs are o.k., check the machine for any damage and rectify

Regards,
Prakash

Thank you for your quick response!

How is it possible the spindle goes too fast?
What should I do? Change the encoder, the drive..?
Thank's for your help.
