Hi there,
We are having a PCS7 V6.1 SP1 and we are using simatic red-connect V6.4 installed on the system. Howevere, once we run-time --> a pop-up is appearing asking that 'S7 REDCONNECT V6.3 License' is missing.
Note that S7-REDCONNECT V6.4 is installed in the C-Drive of the PCS7 station.

Please Advise!!

Dear alibaba,

I am sorry but I fear we have a version conflict here.

You have PCS 7 V 6.1 SP 1, which is released 2005, and SIMATIC NET V 6.4 (Edition 2006), which is release 10 / 2006, so you have a version conflict. If you installed what you received with PCS 7 V 6.1 you certainly did not receive SIMATIC NET V 6.4. So I doubt that the installation you have is right. The Version 6.3 (Edition 2005) would be much more understandable than V 6.4.

I am sorry.

J_Bell,

I also face the similar situation.
Now, what would be the work around solution ?
If so, who can I refer this to ? Hotline ? Sales ?

Please advise further.

Thanks....

Hello,

as far as I see the situation I would say you have two alternatives:

1. You change the SIMATIC NET Software back to the version delivered with your PCS7 Version.
2. You try to get the PCS7 Version that is compatible with the SIMATIC NET Software you want to use.

Best regards
