Cannot see it in Wincc anymore. The manual: Process Control System PCS7 (Operator station 8.0) is referring to a document:

Process Control System PCS 7; Programming Guide for Blocks

But cannot find it for version 8.0.

How do I create faceplates from my custom blocks?
In 7.1 SP3 it was still on the Wincc explorer...

Ahhh ok got it... I think during my install of 7.1, it was installed automatically... but I found it..

Also, it looks like there are less blocks in the 8.0 library then in the 7.1 version. I cannot see 7.1 library. Do I also need to install it from somewhere?

Hi,

you can install the old libs from the DVD 2.

Faceplatedesigner is missing, because the default installation is only including the APL and APL isn't using Faceplate designer.

But thank you for the hint. I will puplish a tipp in this forum, to complement the documentation.
