Hello!

We need assistence for the connection between WinCC and S7-200 PLC (CP243-1) via Internet VPN.

Currently PLC is already configured to accept all incoming connections. Router is connected to the PLC is configured to initiate a VPN connection with another router learned the location where software is installed on a PC with WinCC. We tried to interface the PLC with WinCC V1.0 SP6 PcAccess but I failed. PcAcces returns the error "Network error".

I tried to connect with STEP7 - MicroWin, which is installed on the same PC described above, and we managed (to read the parameters we want).

Can we connect the PLC other than by PcAccess?? Or what settings need to do in PcAccess?

I attached a schematic diagram of the connections to better understand the problem.

Thanks,

Hello lord.magnetica,

is this topic similiar with this one.

May I ask you whether lord.magnetica and adrian1982 are the same person or just colleagues, which are working on the same problem?

I just tripped over this, by looking around for a tip or solution, opened the attachment and what a big suprise is was identic.

Good to hear that your problem is solved, and very good that you posted it, but it would have been a good thing to close second thread too, because I spent already some time to look around for compatibility and so on today.

No offence - Best regards
