how to calculate the breaking resistor

Dear sir,
  
        please help me how to calculate the breaking resistor theritically, for the 30kw Siemens micro master drive.
 
 i found the MLFB through this forum, but my intrest i want to know how to find theritical calculation for the breaking resisitor for propper drives.

Exm: 10kw drive what is how much breaking resisitor need to set up?

Siemens AC drives can use any other make AC motors. it is passible or not.

Hello,

As long as you stay within the specs off your drive you can use any brand off AC motor.

Please see the attached file to select the suitable braking resistor for your drive. 
I assumed that your drive is MM440.
