TIA Compilation Error

During the runtime simulation of WINCC V 11  its throwing following error.....

Compailation of the RUNTIME PROJECT FAILED.   Cannot link the database to the runtime project 11866113-9902



Cannot link database to the runtime project.

Hello,

Can you described more about your behaviour?
What did you do before?
Which panel do you use?
Which software version do you use?

You can delete the "IM" folder in your project directory.
Then you generate your project new.

Its Simantic PC Station I am using.  I just created a small design and thought of simulating it in runtime and showing this error. Even without any objects in the Screens also its showing the same error. And today I contacted my local supplier and they are saying its problem with the nstallation so I repaired my installation and it shows some SQL error in installation. Is it because of that its not going to run time. Attached the error log file also..Please check and please help

Acoording to this I had unisntalled all the TIA instances and installed it again but still the same.

Hello,

Have you check this behaviour with a new project?

Do you make a repair installation and the behaviour is the same?

Do you deinstall WinCC V11 and install it new.
Have you done this?

Yes created new project also same error.

Done uninstall/ install same error.



Please find the attached error log while installing the wincc again.

Installation completed with the following error log report.

I had done the repair, reinstallig but still while compiling showing the same error

With what is SIMATIC WinCC V11 compatible?

You should check the software of your computer with this list.

Hi Tweety,

My issue got solved. There is some wrong instance of SQL service running in my machine. Thats why....So when ever I am installing TIA portal SQL installation is not proper thats why getting this error.

Done formating and installed TIA again and the installation is perfect and project running fine.
