Greetings!

For an integration reason I need to integrate some signals from one PCS7 V6.2  project to a WinCC V7.0 Server by importing the tags/Alarms to the WinCC project and link them to some customized Block Icons and Faceplates but the problem is that the Alarms are not working and the group Display also not working at block Icons and faceplates .

-          Actually I don’t understand how the alarms are working at PCS7system as I found all the alarms in the Alarm logging tool are linked to the same Message Tag and Acknowledgement Tag  [CS1#RawEvent] as shown in the attached screenshot .

-          And the Group Display in all block icons and faceplates are connected to the tag TagName.EventState which is external tag but it doesn’t have any corresponding record at the Instance DB of the Block.

-          I am using PCS7 Telecontrol V7.1 with the same project and I found that the DBA AS-OS compilation tool is generating the EventState Tag as an internal Tag so I expected that even if the .EvenState tag is External at the PCS7 but it seems to be used as internal Tag and I expect that it’s value is getting updated at the OS level only and not from the AS , Am I right ?

My questions are :

1 – How the Alarm signals are transferred from the AS to OS and by using which tags?

2-  what is the use of the following tags :

TagName.EventRaw#1

TagName.EventRaw#2

TagName.EventRaw#3

TagName.EventTrans#1

TagName.EventTrans#2

TagName.EventTrans#3

?

3- How the EventState tag is updated based on the status of the alarms of the PO ?

4 – any additional information about Alarm system in PCS7 which can help for more understanding of the Alarm system operation .
