Hello egy_eng;
Here is a FAQ that describes High-Feature modules:

New ET 200S High Feature Analog Modules with 0.5ms Cycle Time Released for Delivery

The following new functions were introduced:

  • Significantly faster cycle time of 0.5ms per module
  • Support of isochrone mode (interface module and DP master or PN IO controller must also support this function)
  • Support of I&M data (Identification & Maintenance, (interface module and DP master or PN IO controller must also support this function))
  • Process interrupt; If the upper or lower limiting values are exceeded (limiting values are freely  parameterizable)

If your system uses any one of these features you cannot replace the AI modules with an earlier version.

Hope this helps,
Daniel Chartier
