in S7300 or 400 system, is there any module available which works Modbus over ethernet. The current CP341 module Modbus Serial work only with RS232, 422,485.

However, I did not find any module which works modbus over ethernet.

You can use CP343 and 443 for modbus TCP/IP comm. You need 2XV9450-1MB00 license for one CPU, 2XV9450-1MB01 for redundant CPU's..

Thank you for the information. However, if I am already using CP443 for ethernet communication with the PC and 3rd party HMI, can I use the same CP443 for this modbus over ethernet, or I need to use any additional module.

Hello Lucky,
yes, it is possible to run different protocols simultaneously via ethernet with one CP.

Is there anyone have the example program using CP343 or CP443 for modbus over ethernet?

If you take a look at the link that ak11474 posted before, you can find two usefull links:
1. To a side where you can download a demoversion that includes an example project
2. To an example application for Modbus TCP communication between a S7 PLC and a Modicon PLC

I am told by Siemens Support that:

Siemens has a purchased product that supports Open Modbus/TCP ( 2XV9450-1MBxx ). However, the product is not supported in USA because the developer, IT4 Industry Erlangen Germany, had to create some custom code to support the communication.

Please do let me know, what's the solution for USA?

Hello Lucky,
as far as I know this ModbusTCP libraries are used in the USA as well. Do you mind that you will get support only in Germany?
What do you mean by "create some custom code"? Does this only apply for downloading the trial version?
