Dear all,

My basic requirement is that i want to synchronise CPU 928B and CP5431(6GK1543-1AA01).
I have the basic things like, I have written a program where i have called FB126 (send all) and FB127 (receive all) in OB1. I have called FB125 (SYNCHRON) block in OB20, OB21, OB22 and assigned proper parameters to it, i.e. I have set SSNR = 0 and the base SSNR set in CP5431 is also 0. The same CPU program is working fine with CP1430 and i have established communication between S5 CPU and WinCC over ethernet. For both communications(CP1430, CP5431) the CPU goes in run state. And I dont think there is any problem in CPU program. But i am facing problem in CP5431.

Coming to CP5431, i am using the COM5431E package for programming the CP. I have referred the "FDL connection over PROFIBUS between PC station and SIMATIC S5" and programmed the CP accordingly. But when i put the CP from stop to start, the STOP LED is lit continuously while the green LED lits up only for a few seconds, after that only the STOP LED glows. After this i am not able to access the CP. When i ask for CP status i get an error as "CP interface not ready".

Please can any one help me sort out this problem.

Thanking in advance.

Hi KG*

What is the SSNR of CP1430 card ?
If it is also set to zero, you'll have to choose another (free) one for your CP5431 card.
Did you checked if your CP is inserted in a slot that is suited for this CP card ?

Kind regards,
BV

Hello BeVee,

The communication with WinCC using CP1430 card was done seperately. After this I removed the CP1430 card and used the same CPU program for CP5431. The SSNR in CPU program was kept as 0 while the Base SSNR in CP program was also 0. And the slot where i have inserted the CP5431 card is for CP. I tried on other CP slots as well but no success.sad
