Dear Technical,

I am new with this modbus open tcp communication. I downloaded the working program on this site to communicate with compressor via modbus tcp. There are 3 compressor to communicate with, I am using CPU 315-2pn/dp.. Here i attached the program i am working with, no data coming from compressor on designated db's..

Thanks in advance...

Regards,

Heartbroken

Hello Hearbroken,
I used this example (FB10) before and I recognized that it doesn't work properly. I recommend to use the Simatic AddOn ModbusTCP for PN CPUs,

Hello Heartbroken,
unfortunately I can't open your attachments. Probably it would be easier if you attach some screenshots and describe requirements and error messages.

See attached file, print screens of DB's, Vat, OB's of my simatic program. Vilter IP address 192.168.1.50 ID # = 1,192.168.1.60 ID # = 2,192.168.1.70 ID # = 3, all are in master mode.. Now i am working on one vilter(192.168.1.50 ID # = 1). No data has been receive., Open modbus TCP is already licensed.

Thanks,

heartbroken

Hello Heartbroken,
you receive error 809B from TCON (see DB1 DBW88 to DBW98).
Online help: " 809B The local_device_id in the connection description does not match the CPU."
You didn't parameterize the connection with the wizard.
You can download the wizard here
