Hi, i am facing a new problem now. While starting/Booting my system (840 D),it is asking for Auduser Password. After typing the password (SUNRISE) it is starting the HMI. Earlier it was going directly to HMI,Suddenly it is happening.Maybe someone has used his witty mind. Can someone please help to remove the login prompt.I require the HMI to directly open. Its....Urgent !

Hi Maddy! Had the same problem with a pcu50 panel (I assume that´s what you have got), don´t know why it began to popup the logon window. Found this on the Internet and followed:
Click Start Button (In service mode), Run and type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2, and click Ok. Select the user account from the list (the account to which you want to automatically logon). Uncheck Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer option, and click Ok. Type the user account password and complete the process.
Hope this works for you to.
/Fredrik

Issue Solved. Thanks. But my concern is , as I recall , the problem started when I tried to connect the system through Ethernet cable. Is it related. If yes then There must be some other solution also for this problem.

Nice to hear that it is solved!
Think you have a point there with the Ethernet cable. My problems also came after trying to connect to the PCU50 via Ethernet. But if there is another solution, i´d also would like to know what it is... I asked a Siemens Technician here before i solved my problem, he said that this was a Windows problem, so i don´t think siemens is spending any time trying to solve this...
