Hello everybody,

do you have some experience with DP-DP Coupler (6ES7 158-0AD01-0XA0) connected to IM308C? Could somebody help me?

What problem do you have exactly? A descrption with some screenshots would be helpful.

Normally, with a IM 308C master you should only have to integrate the DP-DP Coupler gsd file (found here: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/113602 ) in Com Profibus, the Profibus configuration software for the IM 308C, insert a DP-DP coupler as a slave to your IM 308C in the configurator and configure the data exchange areas properly.
What is the second master you are exchanging data with, using the DP-DP coupler? How are the data exchange areas configured there?
Note that the data exchange areas on each side of the DP-DP coupler have to be of the same size and datatype, but reversed (an Input area to the slave on the IM 308C must be an Output of the same sixze on the second master....).

thank You for Your fast response. 
With DP-DP Coupler i have experiences with many S7 projects, but I was not sure if it will be work. The DP-DP Coupler is slave like others ,e.g. ET200M which is supported by IM308C, manual  of IM308C not contain some reference about mentioned slave (DP-DP Coupler). Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_
In comparison to S5 , is DP-DP Coupler relative new. That is reason.

Hello Vitas,

I do this constellation very often, it works fine.

BUT take care that the DP/DP coupler Version 2 need ComProfibus V5.1
to do configuration of IM308C!
