Dear Expert,

I have totally unaware about 1200 Series PLC..

we have a requirement of PLC- S7 1200. Please find the below details for the same.

 Digital Inputs: - 12 Nos. (24 VDC)

Digital Outputs: - 14 Nos. (24 VDC)

Analog Inputs: - 2 Nos. (4-20 mA Current)

Analog Output - 2 Nos. (4-20 mA Current)

so could you tell me which 1200 series PLC,IO module, Programming Software along with Cable  is required..

Hello RAJKIRAN,
In addition to the ST 70 catalog you can use the SIMATIC Selection Tool to choose the required configuration.
Enclosed is a typical configuration for your requirement.

Hello RAJKIRAN,
Don't use the onboard AI of the CPU, use only the SM 1234 for AI.
SM1234 can be configured as 0 - 20 mA (unfortunately no 4 - 20 mA) configurable in a group of 2 and also the resolution is 14 bits. If the requirement is more than that then we have to look for ET200M Signal modules.
I missed to mention this in my previous post.

mentioned as SM 1234

Dear  Ganes10 ,

now our I/O are revised so I dont want AO Signal in this configuration...

then could I take  6ES7231-5ND30-0XB0 (ANALOG INPUT SM 1231, 4AI 16BIT)

 instead of 6ES7234-4HE30-0XB0.

Hello RAJKIRAN,
For 6ES7 231-5ND30-0XB0, you can use it as Voltage or current (differential) inputs. In this module you have both 0 to 20 mA and 4 to 20 mA configurable current input type. So you get a better accuracy compared to the previous module. The resolution is 16 bits. Also it can be configured as a individual channel (voltage or current) for all 4 channels, unlike the previous module. HSP 0026 is required to configure and use the same module in TIA Portal. STEP 7 v11 SP2 with Update 3 is also a prerequisite for this.
