Hi, Access Level 2 is all that is required, but the drive must not be running.
The parameters P0701 (DIN0) to P0706 (DIN5) can be changed when the mode of the drive is "Ready to Run".

You can change the function of the drives using the pre-selected functions available, but be warned, if you change a Digital Input to be used with BICO, then 2 things happen:
1/. The existing connections can be overwritten,
2/. The only way to remove the BICO is to perform a factory default.

You need to access the List manual for whichever version of CU your G120 has (i.e. CU230PCU240B/E or CU240S)

Regards,
Graeme

Hi..
Thanks for your reply...
I am using BOP-2 and control unit is CU240E-2... Though i set access level 2 also i am not able to access those parameters. It is jumping from P0700 To P0720. My application is quit simple, i have to inc/dec the rpm using pushbuttons. So i need to change the default assignment of DI configuration.

Any suggestion?

Dear samkcr
The control unit CU240E-2 is different from CU240-S and many other control units,it does't have parameter from p701-p706.BICO  is enabled in this control unit
you want to use MOP operation to raise and lower speed through Push button
So set p1000=1 (mop setpoint selection)
1035=722.0(say if di 0 is used for speed up)
1036=722.1(di 1 is used for speed down)
1037=max freq mop
1038=min freq mop
1047-ramp up time mop
1048=ramp down time mop
1040=mop starting value

These setting shuold work Rnf:lblSmileyTooltip_
refer to the functional diagram 3020,

Hi,

I'm having the same problem using CU240E-2.
How to use the DInput 0 for Start? usually in P701. And AnInput 0 for speed setting.

How come this CU240E-2 parameter setting different between 6SL3244-0BB12-1BA0 and 6SL3244-0BB12-1BA1?

Hi ace_sinergize,
                           there is no any saparate parameter like p701 to p706 in cu 240e-2 , i mast say in all cu of -2 series this is not posible instead of this for application set p840=722.0(terminal 5 di0) as start command set p1000=2 and p756=0(for 0 t0 10v)
