Dear expert,
II have 802D powerline system,& want to introduce postioning to spindle ,the spindle motor is induction motor,we have introduce encoder to the system,(motor to spindle ratiois 1:10).
First of all is it possible to introduce M19 positioning command in the spindle & how.
As we have introduce incoder but when we give M19 command it gives contour monitoring alarm.
Plz let me know how to do it.
Thanks,
Chetan

Hi
You don't have to do anything to implement M19 because is a standard M function. The only thing to do is to optimize the spindle positioning parameters (Kv, acceleration, and all the spindle parameters). You receive Contour monitoring alarm because with actual spindle parameters, the spindle is unable to reach the prescribed position either because of the parameters or some mechanical issues. First of all try to increase the contour monitoring parameter and see the window in which the spindle is positioned and after that try to optimize the parameters.
Good luck

Hello,
You can Also Check by changing the Encoder Feed back polarity parameter.Where you have Fixed the External Encoder? in Direct load or in Spindle?.Check the Gear ration also.

Thanks for reply,
It means it is possible M19 command for indution motor with external encoder.?
Can you give me the sample program(PLC) for M19.

Regards,
Nanu

I have fitted the encoder directly to spindle only(back side).

  Dear,

There is no PLC program required for this M19....

But only PLC required for enabling the encoder........

Then U goto setting data parameter 43240 enter some Position or Angel ( 0-359).....

Then U goto MDA run the Spindle in M3/M4 S100 for some time......

            Then U give a command M70 M19 or M19 itself......

At this time spindle ll rotate in axes mode and it ll stopped at some angel..

That angel which we had given in that parameter........

While this time the CNC may gives Contour monitoring alarm......

U check the contour deviation value in service display.....

Then U enter the max value in contour tolerence parameter...........

                         Then it ll be over....................

        Ya Ur correct.....

U use V2500 1002.3 single for Spindle on at the time of M19...........

                  Thanks......
