Hello Experts,
In one of the application, two digital binary out puts of 6RA70 drive are required to configuered.
1. motor zero &
2. Drive healthy or trip.
Can any one guide me step by step, as how to configure those?
Thanks in advance.

Parameters for controlling binary outputs P771-P774 (G112).
If motor zero is zero speed, then look at diagram G187 and use n<n min (B0164).
If drive trip is fault or alarm, then look at G182 and use B0106 B0114.

Hi KSN,
Thanks for your quick reply. Can you help me to learn more about 6RA70. I have gone thru the manual & few earlier posts in this forum, but some how unable to understand it. sad So do you know any link or have any information about this, then kindly do share.
Thanks,

DEEP.

Hello. I have no other documents, than the manual, I think the manual is very good and it is sufficient for learning drive.

Hello KSN,
OK. Please help me to understand whether my below mentioned interpretation is right or wrong?
1. For motor ZERO speed output.
B0164 to connect P771(0), keep P770.01=0, so X171:46 will be high.
2. For drive fault output.
B0106 to connect P772(0), keep P770.02(0)=0, so X171:48 will be high.
B0114 to connect P773(0), keep P770.03(0)=0, so X171:50 will be high.
Is this true.
If yes, can we make OR logic between B0106 & B0114 & make X171:48 high? If so how?

Thanks in advance.

Hello.
Yes, you are right, but for making any logic you will need S00 option or in your case you can make it using relays at binary outputs.

Hello.
Another idea came to me about how to make OR logic of 2 binectors. If your drive has SW V1.9 or higher you can make this without S00.
Look at function diagram G124. Set P456.01=B0106, P456.02=B0114, P455.01=0, P455.02=100%, P455.03=100%. Then look at function diagram G187. Set P597=0, P596=K0230, P376=90%, P378=0. Then a result of OR logic you will have in B0172, so you may use it binary output.

Hello KSN,
I shall check the same & revert back.
