Motor runs reverse while stopping

Dear All

Recently we are facing some problem in Simovert VC drive

Its from our production line and line was in operation from last one year but recently in one drive, we noticed that during giving stop command, motor is not stopping directly, instead it goes to negetive a little bit and then being zero speed

Please help me in this issue

Which control mode you are using?

V/F? SLVC? or VC?

how you are stopping? I mean applying brake? if yes, how brake is controlled? Using drive?

Please give all details so that I can help you better

I dont Like people driving Fast, thats the reason I overtake them ;)

Which control mode you are using? - Vector Control with ENcoder (P100-4)

how you are stopping? I mean applying brake? if yes, how brake is controlled? - No we are not applying any brake

Actually, this is happening in between operation. In this time we need zero speed of motor so we are giving zero reference but it goes negetive before going to zero

At high speed, I tried a bit using delaying ramp down and I got some good result but at lower speed we are still facing problem

Right now I am not on Site so I will upload Parameter Backup tomorrow

Ohk some thing strange

Because if you give zero reference, drive must go directly to zero speed

Dont change Ramp downs because I dont think there is anything related with it

Now, What I suggest is, perform Auto tunning in P115. I think this will help you in this

I dont Like people driving Fast, thats the reason I overtake them ;)

Hi,
If negative direction is not required then u can disable negative reference,negative torque and all those parameters related to rotation in negative direction.

Please reply if this in not the case.

have you ensuered that exactly zero volt refernce is provided? Please check. I suspect, it may be negative with some mili volt value.

Well I am using Profibus communication so no question about that

By the way Auto Tunning did work for me. Now everything is running as it should be

My question is, why suddenly auto tunning is needed again? is it normal? or there is something wrong in drive

Its nice that I was able to help in solving your Problem

Now, I dont think there is any problem in drive. May be something has been changed from Mechanical side or may be wear and tear due to continuous operation
