Hello,
I have some performance issues/questions for the next Logo! version. We have a standard application where we have to use the Zelio in stead of the Logo, and this because;
* The Logo has no programmable backlight (always on would be an option). * Not enough text blocks. (20 would be better)
I hope we can use the Logo for this applicationin the future.
* Another upgrade that would be welcome is an analog output module.
Is there a link to a site where we can follow the development of the next Logo generation?
Regards, Geert.

Hello,
it's not so easy to give it free to switch the backlight always on...because of the internal temperature in the basic module...it would get to hot! to the message function...you hopely know...you can combine in one line text and value/parameter...so the maximum for one message text would be 4 values...i think with this feature 10 message function blocks are a lot... ..to the last thing in your question...the analog output... if it's possible for you...come to the SPS/IPC/DRIVES fair in Nuremberg end of November...there you would see something very interesting...! :o)
Regards, Stefan

Hi,
I think your answer was a bit evasive, i also would like to see an option where i could control the backlight. I understand the temperature problem with the backlight continuesly on, but it would be nice if you could switch it on within the software, you could then leave it on for the same period as what is currently the case when you press a button on the frontpanel, after all, what is the difference in heat build-up then???
As to the message limitations i have used the analog multiplexer to give various numbers within a text to increase the actual number of messages.
Kind regards
Willy Maas
