midimaster mdv3000/3 to G120 upgrade on Profibus

I have a machine here that I have just upgraded the drive, however I am not too confident on setting up the profibus assignment. I have done some reading about using the GSD file in the drive to get the assignments. The drive is on (Node 5) and the CPU is a 315-2dp s7300 (node 2) with a wincc op (node 9) interface. could anyone assist me in a step by step instruction on how to get the communications up again.
I have entered all the comissioning settings on the starter software like ramp power speed poles etc.. now it is just a matter of getting the data in the correct places.

The old drive used a cb15/cb155 on the midimaster and the g120 has a cu240b-2 DP.. any help is appreciated.

got the adressing set on the dip switches on the 240B - DP interface on the drive. Had to go into the hardware config and add the g120 and delete the midimaster. Then recompile the program and run.. bus errors went away.. what's weird is it use to use ppo3 and now is using telegram 2/2 the odd thing is bit 14 in the control word is used for direction on the old cb15 unit and bit 14 of the control word on the 240b unit is or a potentiometer input well so the starter software says. this is making the motor spin the wrong way as bit 14 needs to be high for it to run anticlockwise and the new control word is different ?

The other intersting thing is when we did the recompile it came up with a few errors ? but when we ccompared the uncompiled program it was error free so assume it is the new compiler making minor tweaks to the original program.

going to re visit it on monday, hopefully can sought this bit 14 issue out.. just funny how half of the control work is identical but the end of it isnt..
