Hello:

I have been having installed for seven years, six  OP17 6AV3 1JC20 0AX1, the equipment has worked as a whole very well and the application satisfies the necessities with the client.

The problem is the following one:

The last week one of the OP17, the failure I make unusable the numeric keypad. (key 4,5 & 6)

This week has become to damage another equipment, also affecting keys 4.5 and 6.

The equipment really has a very severe use, but it seems to me very strange that in both equipment the same failure arises.

Have some information on a similar case?  Is a habitual problem?

Greetings

Hi there

I have experienced similar problem, bit worse, lost three rows of keypad.  Nonetheless, I was told by the loca Siemens Agent here in SA that the replacement for theOP17 is the TP700.  Question is how do I get the info from the OP17 to TP700?  And also is it really fully compatible?  It is used on a Kora Packmat.

Thanks

Hello,
You have more than one solution:
  • If you have the source file (Protool CS file), then you can easily migrate it to the new operator panel. OP177B is the best replacement for OP17.
  • If you do not have the Protool file, try first to contact programmer to have it.
  • If you failed, then upload the image file from the OP and try to buy another OP17 from internet, As you can not download the uploaded prosave image on any display except of OP17.
Hope this helps.
