what do you want to do?
As I know, the simulation of a S7-1200 isn't supported by PLCSIM.

Is PLCSIM  possible with S7-1200 ....In forum everyone replied that simulation is not possible for 1200. Then how?

I agree with these guys there is no simulation for S7-1200.

OK, there is PLCSim in TIA Portal, but it only works with S300 CPU's.
S7-1200 SImulation only 2013 I think..cry

Dear kulmx ,

it all depends on up to what extend you want to simulate in S7-1200.

I believe that you should be able to develop and test your logic blocks with the simulator in an S7-300 project. After you can transfer that logic or blocks into your S7-1200 project.

Unfortunate I have no idea about S7-1200 that's why maybe somebody here can assist you or correct me if I am totally wrong.

Hello TIBI68,
It may not work out all the time as few blocks are exclusive for S7-1200 which are not supported in S7-300 like CALCULATE Instruction, some of the Math Instructions with more than two inputs (ADD, MUL), MOVE Instruction with multiple outputs etc.
And also few S7-300 blocks may not be suitable for S7-300 like S5 timer, S5 counter, etc (otherwise we would have got a simulator for S7-1200 by now - if it is similar to S7-300). This is my opinion.
