OP 177B-DP mono Configuration

Dear All

I’m using an OP177B-DP and I have some questions about it:

1- How can I activate “root menu” for transferring configuration from programmer? It seems that there is no key for doing that and I have to power off-power on the OP to appear the transfer screen

2- When I power off the OP and Power on it again, some data on OP will lost. For example time and date, some process parameters and etc… how can I fix this problem?

3- It’s software WinCC flexible has a standard library for industrial objects. But I need some objects like Circuit Breakers, Voltage transformers… that is not included in standard library. Is there any additional library, or I have to create this graphics by myself?

4- Some Graphic objects like circles or curves are shown with distortion. Is there any way to fix this distortion?

5- Is there possibility of scripting in this panel or not?

Hello Mazdak,

1- on the Button You will Define the Function Exit Runtime.
2-Date & Time Will get reset But Process Parameter are related to PLC which get Updated from PLC so this is not a case,
How do you synchronize the date and time between an operator panel and an S7-300/S7-400 controller with WinCC flexible?
3-if you dont find any Object in WinCC Flexible Lib. then you have to create by your self.
4-Because it is not having the High Resolution, for small Object it will look like a distortion,
5-Yes you can used the VBS Script.

Thank you so much Ammy
I found out about synchronization between OP and PLC like what you said. But about parameters, I have some values need to transfer from OP Panel to PLC. For example the High-Level and Low-Level settings of a tank . I mean the PLC receives these data from OP. So the OP cannot get it from PLC. What should I do about these values?
About Scripting with VBA, I could not find any menu or toolbar related to scripts in WinCC flexible for OP177B. Maybe this is an option for other types of OP Panels! If you have found it in WinCC flexible, please tell me where can I find it?

Hello,

You can not use scripts at OP177B.
This is not possible.

You use internal tags at OP177B.
If you reboot the OP177B then all internal tags are lost your values.
You must use tags with connection to your PLC.
