Advanced engineering is a bulk engineering tool that allows for the use of Excel spreadsheet importing (creating rules that link the IO List to the way Adv ES imports it) and generating your code through the means of 'Control Module Templates', much like the Process Tag Type templates that IEA uses.
The better part of Adv ES to IEA is that you can then make edits to the templates, regenerate the code and not over write code already placed ontop of the charts laid down. (This part I am not sure whether this was as of V7.1 SP2,3 or V8).
